I chose the name "The Deals of Essex, England" for my site based on the fact that Deal
was my single name and that I grew up in Essex, England.  

I could instead have called the site "The Dales of Essex, England" because, as I
discovered while researching my father's family, before we were Deals, we were Dales. 

On my father's side, other than the Deals and Evans', and a miriad of other families,
of Sible Hedingham and Halstead, there are the families Challis, Crackling, Mynott and
Darking, of Haverhill Suffolk and Shudy and Castle Camps in Cambridgeshire.  

Alternatively I could have accented on my mother's family in the title by remembering
the Warners, the Gallerfings, the Hamblions and the Orrins of Colchester in Essex.

Because no one name and no one place tells anyone's story.
